Driving Directions

Lithopolis is located in the NW corner of Fairfield County, Ohio. Along SR 33, we are just 20 minutes SE of Downtown Columbus and 15 minutes NW of Lancaster.

• From Columbus' by-pass US Route I-270 or US Route I-70 East, take SR 33 East toward Lancaster to the Canal Winchester/SR 674 exit.

• Turn right onto SR 674 (Gender Road). Stay on Gender Road for about 2 miles until it dead-ends into Lithopolis Road.

• Turn left on Lithopolis Road and welcome to Lithopolis!

• Travel through the next intersection at SR 674. Wagnalls Run homes will be on the NE corner (to your left). Further down, also to the left, sits a 2-story white farmhouse, which is the future site for Council Chambers and Village Offices.

• Continue on Lithopolis Road, which becomes Columbus Street, and which will bring you into the center of town. The police station is on the SE corner of Columbus and South Market Streets. John E Wilson Memorial Park is on the NE corner. The Village Office is at 33 South Market Street across from Wilson Park.

• Shops and restaurants are along each side of Columbus Street (Lithopolis Road), with Wagnalls Memorial and its magnificent structure greeting you at the south end of the Village.

• If you reach the 3-way intersection at Falers Feed Store, stop in and visit if you'd like, but then turn around -- you've gone too far!
